Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is situated in Ariyur, Puducherry/Pondicherry.
The college was come into existence
in the year 2007 and is managed under the Ramachandra Educational Trust, a
registered Trust.
This institute is goal at
instructing quality medical education in medical, paramedical and nursing
field. The college provides full exposure to its students to the professional
practices of healthcare.
The institute is associated to
Pondicherry University and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The institute has received approval
of Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and is recognized by the state
government.
The institute has been recognized by
Medical Council of India (MCI) since 2003 for conducting various DM, MCh, MD
courses. In 2006, the Government of India included the college as one of the
institutions for up gradation at par with AIIMS, New Delhi under the Pradhan
Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) scheme.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have successfully passed 10+2 or its equivalent education from any recognized board.
- Candidates must have secured minimum 50% of aggregate marks in qualifying examination
- Candidates must have attained minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission
- Candidates must have a valid entrance exam score for the admission
Admission Details:
Admission for the 5 and ½ year MBBS
program at this college is purely based on the merit obtained by an individual
in the entrance examination. To appear for any entrance examination candidates
must have successfully passed the +2 education.
