Datta Meghe Institute of Medical
Sciences (DMIMS), Wardha was created in the year 2005. The institute is a
Deemed University, conducts All India Pre Medical Entrance Test, also known as
AIPMET.
The entrance test is conducted for
admissions to undergraduate programs in the field of medical and dental
science.
The institute All India Pre Medical
Entrance Test is conducted in nine places across India, including Indore,
Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Amravati, Malkapur and Akola.
The final selection of the
candidates is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in DMIMS AIPMET.
Eligibility:
- Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences has laid down
certain eligibility criteria for those who have applied for appearing in
DMIMS AIPMET entrance exam.
- The candidate applying for this entrance test must be a
citizen of India.
- The candidate must be above 17 years of age at the time
of applying for this test.
- The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary
Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent, from any recognized
state/national Board.
- The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in
aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English as one of the
main subjects.
- Students appearing for final year are also eligible to
apply for this program.

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is a constituent of Datta Meghe Institute of
Medical Sciences University.
The institute is awarded with status
of deemed University by Govt. of India. The deemed university governed
Jawaharlal Nehru medical college and Sharad pawar dental college.
The institute was included in the
best Category A by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India amongst the Deemed
Universities in the month of May 2013.

Sciences, a Deemed University was founded in the year 2005. It has been
certified with the Grade A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation
Council (NAAC) for a period of five years in March 2013.
The institute was included in the
best Category A by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India amongst the Deemed
Universities in the month of May 2013.
The institute is located in a 125
acre campus in Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha about 80 kms from Nagpur, Maharashtra,
