ACS Medical College and Hospital,
Chennai was opened in the year 2008. The
college is located in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. It is a
constituent college of Dr. M.G.R. University, Chennai.
The college was established by the
University`s Faculty of Medical Sciences. It is approved by the Medical Council
of India (MCI) and recognized by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,
Government of India.
The institute conducts an
undergraduate course in the field of medical science. The four-and-half-year
program (MBBS) is followed by one year’s internship, which is mandatory of all
the students. The college offers modern facilities to its students.
ACS Medical College and
Hospital Eligibility:
The students who are willing to join
in this college should have completed their Secondary Education from a
recognized institution with the compulsory subject of Biology, Physics and also
chemistry. Moreover the Candidate should possess an aggregate of 50% marks in
his secondary education from an recognized board of India.
Admission Criteria:
Minimum qualification required is
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English at a level
not less than the core course. Selection of the students shall be done solely
on the merit basis. Merit would be calculated on the basis of performance of
the student in the Qualifying examination and Entrance examination / Viva voice
conducted by the university.
