As per the Government Direction, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) going to conduct Common Entrance Test (CET) 2016 as per the following schedule for admissions toMedical, Dental, Homeopathy,  Ayurveda, Unani, Naturapathy and Yoga, Engineering, B.Sc Agriculture, Sericulture, Forestry, Horticulture, B-Pharma, D-Pharma courses for 2016-2017 session.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) notifies regarding the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2016 for admissions to Medical and Dental courses for the academic year 2016. KEA will conduct the KCET 2016.

The Karnataka Examination Authority has announced the KCET 2016 examination dates. KCET 2016 is scheduled to be held consecutively on two days, every year first week of May 2016.

Karnataka CET 2016 is the state level common entrance test organized and conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority, Government of Karnataka to admit students to medical and dental courses in Karnataka.

However, only Karnataka students are allowed for KCET 2016 and the other aspirants may opt for COMEDK 2016 Medical Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka CET 2016 :

The applicant is required to pass Karnataka 2 PUC or 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subject and English with one of the languages of study. He/She must have secured 50% marks in aggregate.

CET 2016 Karnataka Application Form :

Brochure-cum-Application Form will be supplied through the schools/colleges located within State of Karnataka.

Karnataka CET 2016 Exam Fees: Upon a submission of Demand Draft for Rs. 550/- to the Principals of the schools or colleges, drawn in favor of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore”, payable at Bangalore.
