The 4 constituent colleges under the ambit of the University are JSS Medical College, Mysore, established in 1984 the JSS Dental College in Mysore, established in 1986 the JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore, established in 1973 and another College of Pharmacy in Ooty, which was established in 1980.

Courses Offered :

UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAMMES MBBS BDS Eligibility: MBBS: The candidate seeking admission to MBBS courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized Board / University from any School / Colleges in India / Abroad after 12 years of study. The candidate should have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the qualifying examinations i.e. PUC II / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 40%. The candidate should also have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the JSSU Enterance Test and for SC, ST, category-I & OBC the eligibility will be 40% for admission to MBBS course. Age : The candidate should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December in the year of admission for any undergraduate programmes. BDS :  The candidate seeking admission to BDS course should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/ HSC examination of any recognized Board / University from any School / Colleges in India / Abroad after 12 years of study. A candidate desirous for admission to various Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs at the constituent colleges of JSS University (JSSU) is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit to the university for consideration of admission. A candidate is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit the same to the University on or before the scheduled date. The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs. 2,000/- for Undergraduate (UG) programs and Rs. 3,000/- for Postgraduate (PG) programs by way of DD only favouring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore along with the documents as listed in the application. Candidates may also obtain by post the application form along with the Brochure by sending a processing fee of Rs.2,100/- for Undergraduate (UG) programs and Rs. 3,100/- for Post Graduate (PG) programs by way of DD favouring JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore. After obtaining the application from the University candidates may send filled application form to the University address on or before the scheduled date along with documents listed in application.
